SERVPRO HELPS RESTORE ANCHORAGE YMCA
SERVPRO Helping to Clean Up Anchorage YMCA "Like it never happened."
According to the YMCA website, "YMCA had a pressurized water pipe failure in the front part of the building between the restrooms. This was discovered on Sunday morning after and estimated 6 hours of water flowing onto the first floor. The only areas on the first floor spared of nearly three inches of standing water were the locker rooms and pool area. The water damage to the floor and drywall is extensive. The disaster recovery crew has been working 12 hour plus days since Sunday to remove the water, access damage, removed damaged material and plan for restoration."
SERVPRO of North Anchorage is the disaster recovery crew the YMCA mentions in the paragraph above. Tatiana Pallasch, owner of SERVPRO of North Anchorage, was able to get a full disaster crew to the YMCA within hours of the event, calling in reinforcement teams as well as her own staff. The team worked hard for a week cleaning up the YMCA "Like it never happened." ©.
